Disney have announced that they will be temporarily suspending work on Disney+ Marvel shows and movies that are currently in production, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Variety reported the suspension of series including Loki, WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which stopped production last week.

Shows that are in pre-production will continue to work remotely.

It’s not unexpected considering the slieu of shows and movies that have announced to have suspended production. Disney aren’t the only one in this boat. Disney has made no announcement regarding any delays for the release dates for Loki and WandaVision. But there also has been no indication as to how long the suspension will be for, meaning we might have to be waiting a while for the next-step in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

That’s not the only Disney property affected by the virus, as even Mulan, which was set for a March 27th release, has been delayed until further notice.

Disney also ended up shutting down both their Disney World and Disneyland theme parks to help stop the spread of COVID-19. So I guess Disney is really putting in the effort to ensure that no one is affected by the coronavirus pandemic with any of their services or properties.
