In conjunction with the launch of the new series of printers, OKI Malaysia hosted a selected of high profile customers, dealers and media to an exclusive golf tournament at the prestigious Els Club Teluk Datai Golf Club in Langkawi. Guests were given the VIP treatment from set-go, with chartered flight, direct pick-up from the runway and prizes for nearly every golfer on the course.
This accounts for the third round of golf tournament the printer company has organised of the years, the first edition was held in The Mines Resort & Golf Club followed by Palm Garden Golf Club, IOI Resort City Putrajaya: the event is being held every 2 years at the moment. However, according to Mr Goh Yin Hwang Country Manager OKI Data (S) Pte Ltd Malaysia Rep Office, there are plans to make the event an annual affair after the overwhelming response OKI received this year with all of the invited guests turning up for the tourney. Certainly an encouragement given the game offers an excellent opportunity for bonding and camaraderie among partners and customers.
This year, representative from OKI Data who joined the game was Ms Chiharu Asai, Managing Director of OKI Data (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
A total of 36 prizes were given away during the event with a grand prize which included 60” LED TV. Other prizes were GoPro Camera, Apple Watch, iPad Mini or Scotty Cameron Putter for both Category A and Category B. Novelties prizes; Isetan Vouchers RM2,000 & Garmin GPS Golf Watch, Honma Driver and Taylormade Rescue. Participants also eligible for Lucky Draw which includes a pair of return flights to Langkawi & Els Club Golf Package, 60” LED TV, iPhone 6, iPad Mini, OKI Colour Printer, Casio G-Shocks, Golf Bags and also Trolley Bags. The overall tournament winner En Mohd Fairuze Mohd Fadzil walked away with the grand prize 60″ LED TV, after scoring the best result among the 72 players.
