The Galaxy Fold Is Coming To Malaysia This Month; Let’s See How This ‘Unfolds’

Looks like Samsung is finally dipping its toes into the foldable phone market in Malaysia, with their Galaxy Fold. And yes, we’ve gone after it before, but it’s still one of the next steps into the future of what smartphones could be. We’ve seen multiple iterations of foldables, waterfall screens, and crazy look displays, but this is the first to be officially brought to Malaysia.

So if you guys are interested, stick around and we’ll update you on when you can get a unit for yourself. Pre-orders will probably begin very soon, as it’s already started around the world, like Singapore and Korea. For a fun fact, apparently the Fold sold out on the first day of launch in Singapore.

We’re not sure the same will happen in Malaysia, but I’m sure there’s going to be some kind of surprise about the numbers. A lot of people want this phone, but I don’t think us normal folks will be able to afford it considering the price in America is $1980 USD (RM 8307). We’re assuming it’ll cost RM 8399, or RM 8499 for it’s base model, but it might go higher than that.

At least it’s a good indicator that Malaysia’s being taken seriously in the smartphone market, or maybe this Samsung’s plan for world domination. I’m gonna say world domination.
