Realme is an up and coming phone company designed and marketed towards the young. We’ve written about the Realme 3 before when the phone was launched in Malaysia. But this time we’re reporting that they broke the record during Lazada’s 7th Birthday Sale. They sold a record breaking, insane, staggering amount of…. 500 phones. Well, 500 phones in 3 minutes that is, and that’s pretty impressive.

The Realme 3 features a 3D Gradient Unibody design, MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 13MP + 2MP dual cameras with Nightscape and Chroma Boost modes, 4230 mAh battery and Color OS 6.0. And to commemorate the occasion, Realme is partying it up by holding another sale, by offering the device for RM 549 on Lazada. Just for reference, the regular price is RM 599.

Well it seems like it’s getting ‘real’ for Realme, and the phones and company have got people buying. The phone does come at an attractive price point so, I’m not surprised. Budget, and lower priced phones are the way to go these days, and people are leaning more towards it. We’ve mentioned it before when writing about other budget phones, so we feel like we know what we’re talking about here. The sheer amount of these phones coming into Malaysia is an indication that all of us on this little island, love smartphones.
