ASUS introduces a new line-up of RoG laptops.
Gamers everywhere would be familiar with ASUS’s line of Republic of Gamers laptops. Well, said line has just got shaken up as ASUS just introduced their latest entries into the RoG family of ultimate gaming machines with varying price points.
First off the list is the ROG G751. Retaining the classic stealthy F-22 Raptor-inspired lines found on previous G Series iterations, this particular gaming notebook features an Intel Core processor, an enthusiast-grade NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M/980M graphics card and an exclusive ASUS TurboMaster GPU-overclocking technology which allows the laptop to deliver gaming desktop levels of performance. The G751 also demonstrates exceptional thermal efficiency with minimal noise thanks to the copper heatsinks and intelligent dual fans that expel hot air via rear vents. Dedicated keys for instant access to Steam and one-click gameplay recording are among the features implemented in the G751, alongside the ASUS SonicMaster and ROG AudioWizard for powerful, optimised audio for all game genres.
The next laptop on the list is the ROG G-Series G501. Standing at only 20.6mm tall and weighing as little as 2.06kg, the G501 is one of the thinnest laptops in its class. Powered by the 4th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics card, and supported by ASUS’s own Hyper Cool technology, this laptop is capable of delivering smooth, stable performance for both gaming and professional content creation. The 15.6 inch, 4K/UHD display is capable of outputting incredibly detailed visuals and lifelike colours.
Moving on, the G551 gaming notebook has received an update. It now sports an Intel Core i7 processor and enthusiast-grade NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics, making it a rather substantial performance leap over its previous predecessors.
Featuring a design aesthetic inspired by the F-22 stealth fighter and intricate Mayan detailing above the beautiful solid, one-piece construction backlit keyboard, the ROG G-Series GL552 comes with a quad-core 4th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics with Microsoft DirectX 12 support, making it a prime laptop for both gaming and creative purposes.
Lastly, ASUS has also released the G20 Gaming desktop, a powerful small-form-factor gaming desktop. Featuring a slim, compact 12.5-litre case that features a matte-black finish, aggressive lines and Mayan-inspired markings, the G20 is powered by a 4th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and can be specced with up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 graphics card for unprecedented levels of gaming and multitasking performance. This allows users to play most mainstream gaming titles at their highest settings and watch videos in high-definition resolution.
