Skullcandy’s First-ever Truly Wireless Earbuds

Skullcandy has just announced the launch of its first truly wireless earbuds, the Skullcandy Push.

The earbuds feature a large button on the side, which can be used to pick up calls, switch audio tracks, and volume control. Triple tapping that button activates the phone’s voice assistant or to set reminders.

The Skullcandy Push offers six hours of listening time, returning them into its fully case (fully-charged) offers another six hours. Well, that’s an hour more than the Apple AirPods but the AirPods charging case holds multiple charges that make up a about 24 hours of listeing time.

“Pyschotropical Teal”

They come in a sole colour option, “Psychotropical Teal”. Gel ear hooks ensure the earbuds stay in place.

The case is rather bulky, certainly not as portable as the AirPods.

They are not sweat or water-resistant. Skullcandy doesn’t recommend exercising with the Push. Exercise-junkies, look elsewhere.

For now, the Push wireless earbuds will be sold exclusively at US’ Target for $129.99 until the end of 2018, and will be available at select retailers starting January 15.

Skullcandy will also offer a replacement earbud or charging case at $49 under its “Fearless Use Promise”. It’s a slightly better deal than what Apple offers, which is at $69.
