16 November 2018, marked  a momentous occasion for the  Malaysian Mobile Content Providers Association (MMCP) and Elite Expo Sdn. Bhd where they returned with the 2nd Mobile Business Excellence Awards (MBEA) to recognize the best in the mobile technology industry in terms of innovation and achievement by providing positive reinforcement and recognition.

The prestigious MBEA 2018 was supported by FinTech Association of Malaysia (FAOM), Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia (CMCF), Communications & Multimedia Consumer Forum of Malaysia (CFM), Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) to acknowledge excellent achievements of individuals, entrepreneurs, SMEs and multinational Entities.

The panel of judges was formed by professionals from Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia (CMCF), Malaysian Mobile Content Providers Association (MMCP), Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), FinTech Association of Malaysia (FAOM), Communications & Multimedia Consumer Forum of Malaysia (CFM), iSentric Sdn Bhd, Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) and Internet Alliance.

Mr. Johnson Lim, the President of MMCP said Mobile Business Excellence Awards (MBFA) 2018“MBEA Awards is significant to represent a recognition and symbol for mobile technology industry, in terms of innovation and achievement”. MBEA 2018 is segregated into several categories – ‘Content Aggregator’, ‘Application Hosting Provider’, ‘Fast Moving’, ‘Established’, ‘Mobile Application’, ‘MVNO’, ‘Mobile Payment Solution’, ‘Mobile Messaging and Solution’, ‘Best Mobile Content Influencers’, ‘Best Digital Content Provider’, ‘Best Affiliate Marketing Awards’ and ‘Special Achievement’. The main highlight of the night was the special recognition awards to the – ‘Company of the Year’ and ‘CEO of the Year’.
