The future of technology is looking rather bright for us. While the demand for greater, faster speed of Internet is continuously expanding, the people in Nokia have already begun planning into the next generation of 5G networks, which provides much faster internet to its users. It is generally anticipated that 5G will be commercially available by 2020 at its earliest.
According to Nokia, every industry will be affected by 5G with network speeds up to 10Gbps and low latency. This will be the driving force for new applications that uses massive broadband capabilities. Aside from network speeds, Nokia Networks also features a spanking new radio 5G system that utilises advanced antennas and operates in bands up to a whopping 100GHz.
Nokia predicts it is much likely that 10,000 times more data crisscrossing network in 2030 as opposed to 2010. Extensive deployment studies have already been done by Nokia Networks to find the most efficient strategy to roll-out 5G.
The network specialist was demonstrating 5G speeds of up to 30Gbps to an end user and over 1 million simultaneous connections in a single cell on the eve of the upcoming gathering of mobile operators in Barcelona for MWC.
