1Machine Technology Group and partners Cybersecurity, PBBM Global Corporation Berhad, Magnaquest Solutions and UiTM have launched PERISAI Premier Edition, which is touted to be a major achievement for the Malaysian Internet security scene. The product was launched by Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) minister, Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili.
Aimed at businesses, the solution comes with a web-based central console that secures business computer networks and provides businesses with tools for security – remote installation, updates, real-time security alerts and scheduled automatic scanning.
PERISAI Internet Security is also the first security software that is compliant with the Syariah regulations, making it ‘Digital Syariah’ certified. The product also represents the significance of unity amongst the different races in Malaysia, hence the company name 1Machine.
“One key defining factor of PERISAI is the context of digital syariah for PERISAI Security. In broad understanding, it is about emphasising the trust aspect in usability. We wanted to emphasise on total privacy rights, excellent deliveries, and social responsibility by protecting the young generation’s moral qualities. We feel that all these aspects makes PERISAI the ideal product for government linked companies and universities in Malaysia,” says Abbyamir bin Sapie, Chief Executive Officer of 1Machine Technology Group.
Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili is also pleased with 1Machine’s initiative to propel the product into the direction that abides by the Syariah regulation along with the inventiveness of creating a product for 1Malaysia.
“When I was informed that this product will take on a more Malaysian-centric approach, I was very pleased. Malaysian corporations especially government linked companies and universities hold vast amounts of information, and finally there is a product paralleled to the Syariah regulation that will cater and support their very needs. This makes it all the more unique,” he adds.
PERISAI Premier Edition brings with it innovative features such as PERISAI Websafe which enables users to open a clean and secure web browser for Internet banking and online transactions, and PERISAI Sandbox which provides an extra layer of security for users to run application in a virtual sandbox without infecting the entire computer.
The product is the brainchild of 1Machine and its partners. PBBM Global Corporation Berhad is onboard the collaboration as the exclusive distributor with a joint marketing venture and Magnaquest Solutions Sdn Bhd is the principal technology partner who assisted 1Machine with the product’s asset management. Cybersecurity Malaysia contributed to the technological malware aspect of the product and UiTM supported 1Machine with the research conducted into the definition and development of digital syariah.
“We wanted to provide the users with the integrity that this product is exactly what they need, which is holistic protection. Added that the product abides by the Syariah regulations, we felt that the ones who will be able to benefit the most from this would be government-linked companies and the education industry with their vast amount of information and databases”, says Abbyamir.
