JOOX, Asia’s most dedicated streaming platform, has finally kicked off the K-Pop Express with the launch of IDOL STATION and I-LAND.
Joox’s K-Pop Express aims to deliver K-Pop lovers an unforgettable music experience with exclusive performances and live chat sessions. Of course, there will be instant subtitles in either English or Simplified Chinese for all viewers.
IDOL STATION will have many appearances of notable K-Pop members from groups like SEVENTEEN, Nu’est, ONF and Verivery.
Apart from just making Tuesday evenings special with their music and live performances, but they will also let audiences see their lives behind the scenes through live real-time chat and special celebrations.
I-LAND, on the other hand, is a new-concept programme by Bang Si-Hyuk, founder of Big Hit Entertainment and BTS. The programme will bring 20 or more international idol trainees competing with each other to become the K-Pop’s next idol.
What’s more, the whole world will be able to watch and participate in the programme in real-time! K-Pop fans would definitely not want to miss this experience.
Huge K-Pop stars like RAIN and Zico will be making appearances, too! The programme takes place in the largest studio in Korean entertainment history and will air exclusively on JOOX starting in June.
Poshu Yeung, Vice President of Tencent International Business Group, said, “These brand-new offerings, including our first-ever JOOX-produced show IDOL STATION and the astonishing idol debut programme I-LAND, truly prove how much we love K-Pop and its fans who always look for more music, exclusive content and real-time interaction with their beloved idols.”
