OPPO has introduced its latest Reno14 Series smartphones alongside a major upgrade to its after-sales service system, leveraging its proprietary AndesGPT large language model. This makes OPPO the first smartphone brand to fully integrate AI across its customer service framework and products, setting new benchmarks for personalised and intelligent user experiences.
The Reno14 Series features advanced AI imaging capabilities and a trend-driven design, while the upgraded service system shifts OPPO’s approach from reactive to proactive engagement. According to OPPO Head of Global After-Sales Services Samuel Fang, the AI-powered framework enhances efficiency and provides a more intuitive, multilingual service experience across 20 countries and regions.
Built on OPPO’s AndesGPT model, the system combines semantic recognition, intelligent routing and a dynamic knowledge base to deliver personalised solutions in real time. The platform supports 13 languages and incorporates OPPO’s AI translation tool, ensuring accurate and instant responses. Over 60% of OPPO users can now resolve issues through AI without needing human assistance.
The company also introduced AI-driven WhatsApp services across 13 markets and plans to expand coverage to Facebook, Line and Vietnam’s Zalo by the end of 2025. The system offers 24/7 availability and integrates with OPPO devices and platforms for a seamless user experience. For more complex cases, users can switch to a human operator instantly, supported by AI assistants that reduce workload for service agents by 40%.
As part of its roadmap, OPPO will further localise its AI operations teams to fine-tune models and enhance service adaptability while extending these capabilities to offline channels.
