Local telco Digi has created a really interesting music collaboration and set it wild on YouTube. Perhaps a first ever from Malaysia, Digi got some of the most popular local artistes to produce this piece as part of its launch for the Digi Music Freedom pass.

With YouTubers Elizabeth Tan, Shawn Lee, Diandra Arjunaidi, Narmi, street performing group Genji, as well as punk band Bunkface, joint hands to put a new spin to Elizabeth Tan’s single, Knock Knock.

“It’s upbeat, catchy and when we combine it with all the musical talent in the video, we immediately knew this song would match the excitement and energy within Digi as we launched Digi Music Freedom. Digi has always been a strong supporter of local artistes and we simply could not pass up this opportunity to work with some of the most exciting entertainers in the country,” said Christian Thrane, Digi’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We thought it would be the perfect song for our launch event,” he add.

All Digi subscriber with a data plan will be able to get access to the Music Freedom pass, allowing them unlimited streaming of music from the popular online music services out there without worries of bill shock, or having your data limit guzzled like cheap beer. Services that are said to work include: Deezer, Spotify, Rdio, KKBox, Soundhound, Hitz.fm, Era.fm, My.fm, BE-AT.TV and Q.us.
