OPPO Reno Ace 2 Now Confirmed To Launch In April; Will Feature 65W Fast-Charging

OPPO Reno Ace

OPPO’s Reno Ace was the company’s starlet when it came to battery and fast charging tech. More so on its charging capabilities, as the Reno Ace was the first phone on the market with Super VOOC 2.0 which reaches 65W fast-charging speeds.

Now, Brian Shen, VP at OPPO has confirmed on Weibo that the Reno Ace 2 will be coming in April.

This coincides with another OPPO device, named PDHM00 on the 3C certification website found by mysmartprice. There, Oppo PDHM00 was certified with a 65W fast charger, making it likely the device is indeed the Oppo Reno Ace 2.

Supporting that claim is the 10V/6.5A charger with the model number VCA7GACH, which is the same bring that comes with the Oppo Reno Ace retail box.

Though, the original Reno Ace never left China so we hadn’t really seen their Super VOOC 2.0 tech yet, until their latest flagship, the Find X2 series. Other specs that the Reno Ace 2 is reported to have will be the Snapdragon 865, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 storage, and 5G. So it would definitely be on par with other flagships out there right now.

Maybe this time around, they’ll be bringing the device worldwide. Because why not? More devices that charge faster, the better.
