Cupertino: New Apple Mac Pro Coming Likely to Launch in 2019

Apple fans will just need to be a little bit more patient before for now; specifically on getting their hands on a new Apple Mac Pro. Despite the last entry appearing in 2013, there is bad news. There won’t be a new iteration for this year. However, there is a silver lining – some sources confirmed the new Apple Mac Pro will be out by 2019.

new mac pro?

This comes straight from Cupertino, AKA Apple HQ, itself. “We want to be transparent and communicate openly with our [professional] community. [Hence], we want them to know that the new Apple Mac Pro is a 2019 product. It’s not something for this year,” says Tom Boger, Senior Director of Mac Hardware Product Marketing, Apple. Back in 2017, similar things have hit the news-stand; all confirming that there won’t be a new Apple Mac Pro that year. This time around, it at least has the courtesy to provide a tentative release date.

One reason why it’s taking so long is how Apple may have plans for a full re-design; meaning it will have to come together from the ground up. Apple has put out hints in the past that any new Apple Mac Pro will be seeing major design changes.

“We designed ourselves into a bit of a corner,” said Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President of Software for Apple. He shares this point back in 2017 during a media roundtable; specifically when reporters discuss about the lack of an Apple Mac Pro update.

Cupertino seem to also be working with the target demographic, for the Apple Mac Pro, a lot more this time. Its engineers are apparently working with a team of artists and flimmakers. By working with the people who’d appreciate the abilities of its premium computers, Apple hopes to better satisfy its customers.

Good things take time, so perhaps Apple’s slow and steady approach could mean a really good computer by 2019.
