Gearbox software, developers of Bordelands 3 have come out and unveiled gameplay of the upcoming looter shooter, and it looks awesome. As noted in the event, Borderlands sort of pioneered the shooter looter genre. Games like Destiny, The Division, Anthem, and all sorts of games took bits and pieces from Borderlands and made it their own. Speaking of taking bits and pieces, Borderlands 3 seems to have taken the best of Borderlands 2, and made it bigger and better. They’ve kept to their guns, (hah) and stuck by what they know works. No exploitative microtransactions, trying to suck every penny out of you. There will be cosmetics you can buy, but that’s not a big deal. Borderlands have always been generous with giving out Shift Codes, which basically gives you free stuff. In fact, they still do it till today for Borderlands 2, a 7 year old game. Talk about dedication.
These SHiFT codes for 5 Gold Keys will grant you some new loot in Borderlands 2! [Active through 5/13]

First thing you’ll notice looking at the game, is just how much smoother and better it looks. Considering this game has been in the works for years, I’d expect no less. Guns and combat systems have been improved on, movement, emotes, and costumes for the characters are some of the more note worthy changes. Oh, and you’ll also be able to slide now, which is probably going to make combat in Borderlands, all the more fun. I mean, with the parkour and all that, you’re basically a space ninja right? A Spinja? Ninace? Something like that.
For all updates, and gameplay, do watch the above linked video to see all the fun new stuff in game. Because me writing about it, doesn’t do as much justice as just seeing it straight up.
