Maker Faire is held in the US in various states bringing creators, artist and innovators together in a single place with the objective to create and propel a DIY mindset. Malaysia will for the first time see a similar fair organised by MDEC centered around technology and robotics.
The inaugural MyDigitalmaker Fair 2017 organised together with Ministry of Education and Petrosains Science Fair will take place over the Malaysia Day weekend 16-17 September at KL Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur. Visitors to the event will get to see featured projects by students developed using digital technology elements such as robotics, 3D printing, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, data analytics and many more. Get to watch and meet young innovators who could be our very own next Elon or Jobs!
Malaysians are encouraged to be part of the ever growing digital movement and introduce technology and career opportunities in order to future-proof our children. Believing in learning should be for all, MDEC has decided to keep the entrance to the fair…free.
