
Sony is continuing strong with the Xperia brand it seems as the company has just revealed 3 new entries into the Xperia line of smartphones and tablets.
First off is the Xperia M4 Aqua Dual, an dual SIM, waterproof smartphone. This phone is Sony’s first octa-core 64-bit smartphone, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. The M4 Aqua Dual runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is capable of lasting up to 2 days thanks to its 2400mAh battery life. The M4 Aqua Dual will go on sale next week and is priced at RM 969.

The second Xperia smartphone that was revealed is the selfie-centric Xperia C4 Dual. Powered by an 1.7 GHz Octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and running on Android 5.0, the C4 Dual, dubbed “the next generation selfie smartphone”, comes with a powerful 5MP front camera with a 25mm wide-angle lens alongside a 13MP rear camera. To further improve the front camera’s quality, Sony has implemented its own Exmor R image sensor, soft LED flash and HDR features to the camera, allowing it to take pictures that will always be stunning, even under low light conditions. SteadyShot technology is also implemented to compensate for any camera shake.
Lastly, Sony has finally unveiled the latest Xperia tablet, the Xperia Z4. Weighing in at 393g and measuring in at 6.1mm, the Z4 is the world’s lightest and slimmest 10 inch tablet. The Z4 comes with a 2K display and a long battery life, being able to withstand 17 hours of video playback. Powering this tablet is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64 bit processor. It comes with an 8MP camera, featuring Sony’s leading technologies for great shots in all lights, as well as a high quality 5.1MP wide-angle front camera, great for selfies and video calls. The Xperia Z4 retails for RM 2,699 for the standard version and RM 3,199 for the keyboard version.
