Google has announced on its Gmail blog that it will be adding two new features on the Calendar app. You might have noticed that, last year, came the helpful illustrations that highlight and organise what your events on the app. Now, Google will be adding more illustrations such as weddings and Halloween parties. It will also come in over 30 languages.

Even more news, Google wants you to help them make more illustrations. You simply do this by taking a photo of events you love and tweeting them with the hashtag #makethemost. Inspiring photos will be picked for Google’s next set of illustrations.

This is a great idea from Mountain View to give users a more personalised experience with the Calendar app. So start clicking your camera now, guys! And don’t forget to hashtag it in your tweet. Maybe you’ll be using your own artwork on the app in the future.
