Known for its incredibly affordable smartphones, Wiko introduces its latest device into its Y Range smartphones, the Wiko Tommy3, which is priced at an affordable RM329. This comes fresh off the heels of Mobile World Congress (MWC), which ended just last week.
Much like how it did with the Wiko View and View Prime, The Wiko Tommy3 carries an 5.45-inch IPS widescreen display panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio. While the View and View Prime did feature a HD+ display panel, the Tommy3 will only be carrying your typical IPS panel. Of course, it is only priced one-third of how much the View and View Prime were priced so that should be taken into consideration as well.
At its core, the Wiko Tommy3 carries a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It can also be extended up to 128GB via a microSD card. At its rear, the Wiko Tommy3 comes with an 8-megapixel shooter that features Auto-HDR and an LED Flash. The front-facing camera carries a 5-megapixel lens with a dedicated Selfie Flash for brighter and clearer selfies.
Seeing as it is a compact device, the Wiko Tommy3 will only be carrying a 2,500mAh battery. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack present for those who still prefer physical headphones and even Bluetooth v4.1, which is a bit of a letdown seeing as Bluetooth v5.0 is already making its mark in smartphones. The Wiko Tommy3 is powered with Android 7.1 Nougat, which makes split-screening available with its wide view display.
The Wiko Tommy3 comes in four distinct colourways with metallic finishings, mainly in Anthracite, Gold, Bleen and Cherry Red. It is now available in Malaysia at only RM329 at all authorised Wiko stores in Malaysia.
