Netflix Mobile Preview Will Soon Be Available on All Devices

For anyone who binge watches on Netflix on a regular basis, you will surely have come to notice its video previews. This is when a selected show plays a short snippet in its homepage, giving you a brief introduction to what you’ll be getting yourself into. This time around, there will soon be the Netflix mobile preview, which will be soon available on all smartphones.

Video previews were first introduced back in 2016, aimed to making the Netflix experience easier, quicker and simpler. Sadly, video preview is only available to those who watch netflix through a TV and not through their web browser, which will be a nice touch as well. Mobile previews will be available in the coming months, starting with Apple iOS first and then moving on to Android at a later date. This means Netflix users can now have the same experience from its TV  interface to their smartphone as well.

The design of mobile preview will be optimised for smartphones, meaning they will be presented vertically so you can watch them with ease and without having to rotate your smartphone. Much like your dedicated lists of rows, mobile previews is based on what users have watched in the past and what they enjoy watching most. It would be interesting to see if this were possible when the app split screen function is active.
