First announced in MWC 2015, the Lumia 640 Dual SIM and 640XL have arrived on Malaysian shores and will be available beginning this Friday, for the price of RM739 and RM929 respectively. Newcomers to the Lumia family, the two new devices offer midrange performance with greater productivity thanks to the integrated Microsoft Office suite. Both devices run on Windows 8.1 and are eligible for the big upgrade to Windows 10 once it is ready later this year, which we believe to be late Q3 or early Q4.

“People are looking for a device which brings them more flexibility to switch easily between work and play, without breaking the bank,” said Bruce Howe, General Manager, Microsoft Mobile Devices Sales for Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. He adds: “The Lumia 640 Dual Sim and Lumia 640 XL keeps people prepared for anything, with the full range of Microsoft experiences – including Office and OneDrive – that Lumia users have come to expect straight out of the box, a superb HD screen and long lasting battery.”
