Customers are now entitled to 2 years warranty for selected HONOR smartphones

As part of its 5th Anniversary celebration and living up to its promise of throwing “the biggest party ever”, HONOR Malaysia has announced a two-year warranty offer for purchases of the HONOR View20, HONOR 20, HONOR 20 Lite and the soon-to-be launched HONOR 20 Pro from 22 July – 30 September 2019.

The smartphones that come with the standard one-year warranty are now entitled to an additional one year warranty and can be redeemed via the HiCare application. The plan will provide extensive protection against repair costs with HONOR official maintenance standards and 100% original spare parts. How swiftly this whole process is however, remains to be seen. Regardless, simply follow these steps to redeem the offer –

Step 1: Launch the HiCare application (pre-installed) on your HONOR device, click on the “Extended Warranty Plan” banner at the top of the screen

Step 2: Update HiCare version as prompted by the system

Step 3: ID is required to redeem the Extended Warranty Plan

Step 4: Click on “Click Here Now” to redeem your Extended Warranty Plan. Customer shall claim his entitlement for the said extended warranty (additional 1 year) within 7 days from purchase.

Step 5: Application to confirm Extended Warranty Plan redeemed successfully
