Cooler Master have launched the MasterMouse S and Lite S, adding a couple of smaller options to the family which began with the modular MasterMouse Pro L. The MasterMouse S comes with intelligent RGB illumination, four DPI levels (between 400 and 7200 DPI) and is designed for ‘claw grip’ gamers.
The MasterMouse S is outfitted with mid-spec features, including a PixArt PMW3330 optical sensor. 1-1 input tracking is achieved by forgoing mouse acceleration. It also has six buttons, 5 of which can be customised with a secondary function using Cooler Master’s “storm TactiX”.
A 32-bit ARM processor and 512KB of memory built into the mouse allows for macros and five profile settings. The aforementioned RGBs are divided into two illumination zones: one along the rim of the mouse wheel and the other at the back-bottom edge. 16.7 million hues are available for players to customise.
The mouse surface also receives matte UV coating that is fingerprint resistant. The buttons are guaranteed for at least 20 million clicks.
The Lite S differs from the S in a few ways. First, it weighs 86 grams (3 grams lighter), has just white LED illumination and uses a lower grade optical sensor that goes up to 2000DPI in 3 preset levels.
