If you are looking for laptops with cutting edge design, lightweight and yet powerful enough for a variety of uses, then you would be glad to know that ASUS has just announced two new laptops that caters to different type of usage – Transformer Book T300 Chi, and ZenBook UX305.
Transformer Book T300 Chi
The Transformer Book T300 Chi is a razer-thin 2-in-1 Windows detachable is meant to provide flexibility for both work and play. This premium design combines classic ASUS aesthetics, innovative engineering, and expert craftsmanship to create an extremely thin, touch-enabled powerful laptop. This same laptop can be transformed seamlessly into a Windows 8.1 tablet to be taken anywhere, anytime. The ASUS Transformer Book T300 Chi features a fanless design powered by the new Intel Core M processor, offering outstanding performance and power efficiency.
The T300 Chi measures at 1.65cm when docked, and is even thinner than “Air”. It sports a seamless all-aluminium unibody design and its edges enhanced with diamond-cut chamfering, with a uniquely-designed magnetic hinge mechanism made from neodymium. The highly-ergonomic keyboard is connected via Bluetooth, with a range of up to 20m.
ASUS Transformer Book T300 Chi uses in-plane switching (IPS) displays enhanced with ASUS TruVivid technology, giving wide viewing angles with clarity and brightness, in a pixel density of 235ppi. The T300 Chi’s displays also have an sRGB color gamut — 20% wider than the gamut of standard displays — that gives richer, more vivid and more accurate color reproduction. Colors are enhanced even more with ASUS Splendid technology, which optimises display settings for a variety of different usage modes.
To produce immersive sound that is rich, powerful and distortion-free, the T300 Chi is fitted with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology. Powered by Intel Core M processor, you can enjoy all-day battery life with no performance compromises. Even with no fans to keep it cool, the T300 Chi is able to run silently, while still delivering better performance than other currently-available Intel Core M-powered devices.

ASUS ZenBook UX305
The ZenBook UX305 is the world’s slimmest 13.3-inch Full HD ultraportable laptop, with it being only 12.3mm thin and weighing just 1.2kg. It features a crisp and vibrant in-plane switching (IPS) anti-glare display, with a touch screen, multi-touch touchpad with Smart Gesture support, and backlit full-size ergonomic keyboard, in Windows 8.1.
This laptop now sports a new shape that incorporates the DNA of the classic ZenBook. With elegantly-tapered wedge design paired with smooth diamond-cut edges, the ZenBook UX305 is available in a new Obsidian Stone colour with ZenBook’s signature spun-metal finish with its Zen-inspired concentric circle patter. For something a little lighter, there is also an option in pure white Ceramic Allow shade.
On the inside, the ZenBook UX305 is powered by the all new Intel Core M processor, with SATA 6GBit/s SSD to make light work of file-intensive office productivity tasks. The ASUS thermal management design removes the need for cooling fans, making the ZenBook UX305 fast, silent and cool at all times. It is also fitted with a lithium-polymer batter and power-efficient components giving it a battery life of up to 10 hours.

The easy-to-use AudioWizard software that comes with the ZenBook UX305 has five presets optimised for different sound sources to offer the ultimate listening experience.
